expand upon this "power expander"

 

Sounds like something from the Power Rangers.

 

It s a dealer in France who sell that...... it s very expensive, like 600-700$ for the downpipe.....

and I m not sure it s very useful.

Florent ... I can't imagine whatever it is being any more useful than a regular 3" mandrel-bent downpipe. It's probably just some marketing gimmick.

 

only thing that comes to mind when you say power expander is maybe a "megaphone" style dp that gets slightly larger as it reaches the center section of the exhaust... sorta like some of the apex cat back exhausts. i can't really imagine that it would be so much better if at all that it would warrant such a high price.
