Good day, my name is Andrew, and I am about to embark into the Rx7 experience. I was turned onto this car by a friend a few years back, and it has always been on my mind since, when searching for cars to buy. My first car was a 1993 mazda mx-6, but i wrecked it, skyrocketing my insurance in the process. Fast foward to the present, a year later, I am searching for a new car, of course a Rx-7, and I found a possible 1st gen 1980 rx-7 with 93,000 original miles, for $2000. I started researching rotary engines, and basic car maintanence, stumbling on this website in the process. I hope to find rx7 club helpful when I get this car, and will enjoy conversing with others of the same interest.

Building the post count is hard, and it is needed to for my posts to appear, and to be able to post in real forums. I would like things to work soon, because I am getting a first gen RX-7 with 93,000 miles on it, and I need some tips from everyone, about anything related to the car. Sorry if I like im complaing, but I would like to make friends with anyone who is technical with this car. My name is Andrew, from Washington, north seattle area. Rx-7 REPRESENT!!!

Yeah its rough! The two owners of this shop have been on here since it started (around 10 years now?) and are forced to start over with a new vendor username! oh well!

They really are great cars just do some research first and keep in mind you may have to turn your own wrenches!

Hey full fcn engineering, do you think that its odd that an Rx-7 from 1980 has 93,000 miles on it, and my parents car has 97,000 miles on it and its a pontiac grand am from 2003?

i guess it depends on the previous owner. could have been an intown only car. then again it could have been grandma's grocery getter with a kick!
