Dream come true
Finally bought my self a rx7. i have dreamed about them since i was young and this year after getting a promotion at work i bought my self a toy. its a 1982 and she is awsome, bit of a work project with a little bit of rust and its the wrong color but that is half the fun. engine has 135,00 on it but runs great.
I got lots of plans for the car first being fix the small rust hole in the floor pan and get the car painted (thanks to my gf's uncle with the body shop) i just cant decide on black or yellow. I want to do some mild work to the engine, i figure it will need a rebuild soon so at that time i will get a streetport done, slap on a racebeat header and exhaust, and put on a holly 450 carb. need to do something with the ignition to but i dont know much about that yet.
any way enough rambling, i hope to get to know you all.

Thanks for registering anyhoos, it's nice to have more 1stgen folk join the board...here's my '85 in yellow, if you need to see what it looks like. Daimler Chrysler Solar Yellow, year 2000, ignore the other cars.

Another thing to remember regarding color choice...the bodywork better be SPOT ON and all the waves blocked out of the body panels if you go with black. A car simply can't look any shoddier than to be jet, glossy black and have so many waves in the panels it looks like you've got moguls on it....
