dream car...

just got back from iraq and bought a fd... one of my dream cars... its a project but im excited to get her running and build her they way i want...

I see more and more that these cars get bought by deployment money. I bought mine while I was still there, lol. Congrats on a safe return and great purchase. What are your plans?

thanks for the welcome... im getting used to the forum thing so sry if i dont' get the it down right away...... putting pics up right now... plans are just restore right now but working on bolt on's and some 99 spec stuff...... if anyone can help i need interior parts if you know anyone getting rid of them... and where i can get a good vacuum line diagram...

i have a vaccum line diagram but it's on my laptop, after i get off work (12 hours from now) i'll email it to my military email so i can post it on here. such a pain in the **** lol i have a cutaway of the stock twins too if you'd like?

don't forget to use soapy water lmao. half the vacuum controls and lines were removed off of mine by some dumbass so i feel your pain haha

my acv was missing and they tried to use blue vac lines and didn't do a good job... lol

nice, best of luck lol. the most important one to check out are the ones hooked to the oil injectors. mine were unhooked and chris from banzai let me know that was a big no no haha. the oil injectors are hard as hell to find cause they're buried under the upper intake manifold, but there should be two vacuum lines coming up almost out of nowhere and then join a y-joint before going to the intake between the air filter and turbo on your primary turbo
