Just researching the FD as a car that I've always loved. My first exposure to it was about 15 years ago when I was in OK visiting the in-laws. I had a 1977 Lotus Esprit at the time and there was another owner in the area. I stopped by to meet him and in the garage was his race prepped RX7. He allowed me to take it for a spin and kept urging me to go faster and faster. I had never been in anything like that before and have never forgotten it. Can't even remember the guy, but I certainly remember the car.
