Hi, I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to the board. Honestly, the reason is because I need to
meet the 10 post minimum so that I can post my FC items in the classified section. I've got a history with RX-
7's. I've had two FC's on and off spanning about 8 years of my life, all Turbo-II S4's.
When I was in high school, before being old enough to drive, a friend of mine's brother's best friend had an 86
RX-7 GXL, and I thought it was the coolest thing on the planet. I got super interested in rotaries and started
reading all about them. There weren't really any forum's back then (1998), but there was an online mailing list.
I subscribed to it, and I read everything I could. A few of the members had some really helpful websites, Dale Clark and Ted Koseki. I bought my first 1987 T2 a couple years later, at everyone's objection about the rotary being an "unreliable" motor. I loved that T2. I did several bolt on mods, exhaust, fuel cut disable, but unfortunately it got hit and totalled a year and a half after owning it.
I drove another car in the meantime before finding my second FC. I went through adventures with three rotaries on this FC. One j-spec JDM S5 motor swap, one I built myself. Lot's of fun.
Anyway that's a basic introduction, is my post count almost 10 yet?
