Been gone for about 10 years but now i am back.
Good afternoon, i started on a project with an 87 turbo II about 14 years ago.
I drove my stock 87 turbo II for about 18 months and loved it and started a ambitious project of installing an 89 JDM S5 and turning it in to a autocross monster.
along the way life got in the way now i am focusing back on the RX7.
When i stopped working on this car about 9 years ago i had the engine in and running but not all back together.
During a test drive with the new engine the hoof latch let go and dented the hood and broke the windshield and that was the last time i worked on the car.
Now i need to make a decision pass the project on to some one that will give the car it needs or complete it myself.
I will post with pictures to show the condition and look forward to hearing from the group with advice on my situation.
