Back into the Doritos, 10Y later :)

Posted a thread in 3rd gen on my rocky start to rotary re-ownership.

I’m Doug, had a 1999 FD back in Australia in 2009, moved to California 8years ago and now just received picked up this white FD Touring.

it’s a little rough, but will be getting pretty extensive mods, so wasn’t too bothered. Hopefully the overheat during delivery hasn’t cooked the fairly fresh rebuild motor that’s in it. Fingers crossed 🤞!

Ive got a set of bride AIR seats already (since the stock tan seats are knackered), waiting on rails (3month waiting list atm with Bride apparently).

next up will be:
  • new black carpet
  • Vinnyfab v-mount, big single kit (or equivalent, really like the hard plumbing and how well thought out the kit is.. but open to opinions)
  • work meister SP1s
  • Haltech ECU
  • supporting fuel/ignition mods.
  • scoot bonnet painted white, feed rear wing, probably a diffuser, undecided on front bumper…
