Another Lemons racer....
I have read alot of the posts on here and it has helped. Before buying a complete track car I didn't know anything about them, I am starting to learn slowly. Thanks for all the info here it is priceless. I have my 5th Lemons race coming up in Oct.

Well, Kyle, what exactly made you think rotary power, though? Did you fall for the body style or was money and opportunity what drove you to RX-7's?
In any case, thanks for taking the time to register and welcome aboard to RX-7 Club!!

It was a complete car ready to race and we knew the history of the Mazda engines. The car has had at least one top five finish/win with good drivers before we bought it so it can hang with the best of them. But I don't have a lot of track experience and I bought it with the idea that it was the best bang for the buck. Lots of driving over two days in a car that was not my daily driver and racing with other people that also had beaters. It takes a lot of the fear of smashing up my streetcar while getting track time. I am now the sole owner of the car and offer rides to racing friends that my dad made with SCCA. They all become addicted after one weekend because it is a lot of fun.
