Always loved RX-7s...and now I have one!
Name's Rox. I'm from Corpus Christi, TX. I've actually been using this forum for the past few weeks for research, and now that I picked up a 10th AE FC I figure it's time to join the party.
I'm new to rotary ownership. I've loved the RX-7 from afar for a long time now, and now I've got a very clean FC in the garage. Other than a (seemingly) quality aftermarket downpipe and what looks like a full Racing Beat exhaust system, it's completely unmolested, which I like. It has a few issues I need to address, but she looks pretty good overall.
A few things I need to look into are:
I'm not looking for answers in this thread or anything, I just want to give you an idea of where this car is at. Considering that these are the only issues (at the moment), I think I did alright. Odo shows around 90k.
Looking forward to being a part of the community

A few things I need to look into are:
- Gauge cluster - doesn't light up, the speedo needle bounces, and the boost gauge doesn't work at all
- Rough idle sometimes - I know (thanks to you guys) this may be a tps issue. Going to look into it.
- Anti- theft system - I locked the doors once and a few minutes later the horn went nuts. Disconnected and reconnected the battery and it was fine.
- Motors for both windows and sunroof - they work (slowly), but they need a bit of assistance to do their job. May need to replace.

Did you end up getting yours, Angel?
Here ya go, a few pics of my 10thAE FC:
The exterior is very clean, but the paint is new. A couple of scratches on the wheels, but I intend to put some daily driving wheels on there to preserve the original wheels. I'm thinking maybe some ROTA Slipstreams.
The engine runs well, but needs a new TPS.
Interior is clean with no cracks on any of the trim. I was pretty stoked to see that The shift **** and boot (one piece MOMO because it's a 10th Anniv. Ed) is worn, so I'll probably take it off and put in an aftermarket boot and ****. Probably a weighted RAZO ****. I'll try to recondition the original part, see if I can save it.
It has a Racing Beat exhaust. Sounds great and performs well.
This is the key I ordered on Amazon, since the only key that came with the car was the spare :\
Let me know what you think!

Thanks guys!
Fluffy, does that mean you're going to paint the engine bay too? That's going to be a lot of work, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. And yes, that is Serenity from Firefly, good catch. Watch the show, youl'll like it.
And Kiddd, looks like you've had a couple 10th AEs before, eh? Nice.
