12a in mg Midget

I'm going to be putting a 12a engine and tranny in my Midget, and I'm sure I'll have many questions.

Sounds like a cool project.

What's your name?

Give us some details on the midget and plans for usage of the car. There are a couple of other swappers on the forum swapping a rotary into something British.

Thanks, Iposted in the Newbie tech section as well as to whether or not a 12a or 13b would be better. Please feel free to comment. Jeff

I have done the same thing to my 1968 midget. I used the 12a motor. Works mint, but needs a rear end swap now.
Let me know how you progress!
You live in Toronto as well I see!!!

An MG Midget is a tiny British convertible car weighing only 1600 lbs. You can google it and find more images.

This is why I'm asking about lessons learned... http://youtu.be/fAZgn0AhNLw

Where should I post information about my build? Should it be in the "Other Engine Conversions" forum?
Thanks,
