Hello everyone!
I just purchased my 1988 Turbo II and am in love with it. I don't know what i have gotten myself into, but something was pulling me toward this car. I have no idea about rotary motors, but ive been looking around the site and can tell you guys aren't too hard on the flaming. i hope you guys can help me out!!!!! I'm very excited to learn about and get addicted to these cars!

I'm also looking to buy a 10th AE, but have mixed feelings. I feel obligated to keep everything original.

Best way to learn is to have it there in front of you. Lots of good instructional videos on rebuilding rotaries. Check out Aaroncake's build threads, very detailed rebuild in there.

 

Im going to keep a lot of it stock, but i gotta put a little taste of where i came from in it... gotta go suspension and fat wheels.

 

nothing wrong with that. We stuffed a set of 12.5" Meisters under my friends car and its hot

 

Exhaust is shooting into my car. and it smells like ***. any sugestions?

 

Check your pipes for any leaks. If you dont find any then check your firewall for holes. I had a 70 Nova that had a hole in the firewall and it would REEK of exhaust
