Will the Corbeau A4 wide seat fit in FD?

i need some wider seats for my wide seat.... i have heard that corbeau makes a specific mount for the fd that is used with the a4 seat. what i dont know is if the wide version of the a4 seat will fit in my FD.

Any advice (besides losing weight....)?

Thanks!

thanks for the input. i looked up the measurements of the corbeau's easy enough but cant find info on the recaro speed. recaro webite doesnt offer much in the way of details. google search turns up a bunch of dead ends.

i will measure my stock seats when i get home to see how they compare to the wide corbeau's.

any other info would be appreciated!

Nothing is specified, so I'm assuming these are the regular A4 seats, however, you can use this post as a reference:

I sincerely doubt the Wide seats will fit, as the standard CR-1/A4 seats barely fit. You can always go with the Forza, which is built for fat-asses ( ). It'd make a really uncomfortable daily seat though.

the other issue to consider, and i know from my one day install and subsequent removal of a cr-1, is that the corbeau bracket sits much higher than the stock fd seat/bracket. i am 5'11" and my head was barely hitting the roof of the car with a cr-1 and corbeau bracket.

How about the Corbeau TRS seats? Will these fit in the FD? I'm interested in getting a set. Has anybody successfully installed a set with the Corbeau brackets?
