What about your wallet? You sit on it and your leg will go to sleep. The glove box latch is pretty fragile so I avoid opening it too much.
Sounds like everyone tosses everything on the passenger seat.

guys, guys, guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dont make it too hard on yourselves. cellphone in the door bin (unless you have one that could hold up stonehenge), coins in the ashtray (you better not be smoking in your fd), and dyno sheets/tuning notes in your glove box!!! it cant be done any simpler. hahaha.

and about the twin turbo system engineering. . . . well, blame that one on ford motor company. hahahaha

Coins: Ashtray
Cell Phone: Pocket
Wallet: Right behind the door handle (not in the bin)
Cups: Wedged between the center console, the back of my chair, the seat belt buckle, and the side of my torso.

Garbage? In the driver's bin.

What do you guys keep in the side bins behind the front seats? I keep rags in there, a dirty rag on one side (for checking oil, or whatever), and a microfiber on the other side.

Screws and other parts go in the bins.
You will love those banging around in there.
Just crank the radio up, it helps against all driving noises.

I officially declare this forum to be the one with the least smokers. Why, because most of you guys use your ashtrays for the coins. TRUTH

Who cares about putting coins in some tray? Just put your change in a change pouch and then put it in your pocket. Badabing-badaboom :d.

I took the black cover off (the area behind the shifter, exhaust light etc.) and put my cell phone, cd player remote control in there.

I don't even use my ashtray, I just keep it in the map pocket and the hole thats leftover is perfect for little knicknacks like change or wallet. On top of that the ashtry light provides a little illumination for driving directions or whatnot. Cellphone goes in the little side pocket.

Too bad I don't have a 3rd gen but for the change, just borrow a coffe can from a you know what & put change in that. The silencer could be the top so you won't hear THAT much noise. For you cell phone that is . . . get an Ericsson T68 & purchase a wireless bluetooth technology headset & you're wireless & free with no hassle.

The stock cupholder for a 1992 Ford Taurus fits almost exactly in the opening underneath the stereo (with some minor modifications involving a table saw and some sandpaper).

It has 2 sliding "drawers" -- one for change and the other for cups (hence, the name). The change drawer has separate compartments for quarters, nickels, etc. Don't know about those funny Canadian coins, though.

The cupholder works pretty well, too. You just need to make sure the stereo to the bottom and put the cupholder on top. Otherwise, the shifter hits the cupholder and changes the radio station/CD constantly.

Actually, my cell phone is a perfect fit on the hand brake. I just tuck it in snug on the leather and it sits perfect facing me, so that when it lights up I can see my call and who it is! Ashtray for change. In those back compartments I have like a car emergency kit (lol parents), my owners manual, the tool for my rims, i think a towel. I really wish a whole cd notebook would fit but it doesnt so I put that in the rear pocket of my seat covers. In the glove box :insurance registration blah blah, boost controller, Shades 2 garage door openers on my drivers side visor, cd wallet on the passenger side visor. It's all set hehehehe

Ash tray. It spills over but then when I need to scrounge some change I can do teh move the seat back thing and rich under (a la Couch scrounging).

I tried the door handle area at first until pennies got jammed in there. Works in some otehr cars I had but definitley a no no in the FD.
