They can be fiberglass or carbonfiber for an fd. The quality is top notch. It makes Fiber Images look like crap.
I have 2 ideas that I'm working on now but I just wanted to hear everyones thoughts.
There going to be a semi production. Meaning I'm only having a few 20-30 parts made depending on cost and size then if demand is high enough I'll make another batch.
I'm sure people have said this and asked before but if there is enough interest the parts will be made. I'd like to do a few copies of factory parts before getting into custom made or modified parts just so everyone can see the quality and I can get a feel for the market.

I'm not looking to get that in depth right now. They did something like this for a honda with 3 10's and the price was around $700 and only could sell around 7-10 of them. It seems there isn't alot of people that are young enough to enjoy the boom but have $700 to blow on a box.

not really, you need a portfolio first man, you gotta prove to people the quality of your work, so your first few gigs are going to reap little if any profits...

don't try to make money, try to make products...

you're asking me what people want, and i'm trying to help

it'd cost you around $200 in parts to do what i described, i know because i am going to do it myself this summer....so charge someone $300, get them to get it installed/setup, take pics, and then you have a more attractive product to sell

right now this is all theory

93BlackFD is right. If your main focus is a quality product and not the profit...then people will take notice and the profit will come automatically. Most people who work with CF do interior dash kits, rear diffusers and just lately someone (skunks I believe) started making a CF front lip. The rear bins/sub box is a unique idea. All you need is some people who are interested. Maybe you could also make the brake ducts behind the front wheel out of CF? That would be sweet!

Ok sorry if I was unclear with everything. I had parts made already for other cars and the quality is perfect. All I'm asking is for ideas about some smaller more simple parts people would like to see made.
This way I can let people see the quality + prices of products I produce without much risk and build a rep within the rx-7 family.
So what parts should be made? I expected alot more responce than this.

see if you can make an inexpensive dash kit in different colors, gunmetal, silver, carbon fiber.. there are a lot of people here who would like something like that but don't have the skills (like me). Also, something I wish people would do is make a few variations of guage/control relocations.. just the panels so we could mount our stuff ourselves.

the brake ducts are a good idea, also maybe the front underbelly in carbon fiber would be good to find cheap

the stock black trim on the rex that is under the rear bumper in carbon would be nice

any pics of how the front brake ducts would look like (do you guys mean scoups that go in the front of the car that can go to 2 hoses which connect to the tie rods and blow on the inside of the brake rotors???)

oh and im planning on making the under belly pan (infact an entire underbody which includes a re-amemiya rear diffuser for the rear part of the car) price will be just about as much as a re-amemiya rear diffuser for the entire thing

as for the rear bins, it never crossed my mind to actually make that out of cf although i am planning on putting in rear cf seats in the rear (got this idea from that full cf skyline which dropped about 2000 lb or so )

Maybe with the HVAC controls already relocated too.

HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning. It's kind of a universal term.

I'd like to see the clock surround and scuff plates for an S5 in carbon fiber.
