What line of Primers, Basecoats, and Clears to use?
Currently I'm in the process of doing bodywork on my Turbo FB project and was curious what products everyone uses. PPG products are the easiest for me to source, so that's what I may end up using. I'm looking for a quality paint job that'll last, and look good. I'm not trying to break the bank either though. I'm new to bodywork and don't really know which route to take. Obviously, you get what you pay for.
Ultimately the question is, should I spend the money on Omni and Omni plus products (which I haven't heard too highly of) OR spend big money on the Deltron products. My father recommended using PPG's DPLF epoxy primer versus the Omni MP170 epoxy primer, K36 Primer Surfacer, Omni basecoat, Omni/Omni Plus clear.
Otherwise what about DPLF, omni primers/base, and quality clear? I'm not sure. What do you all think?

I've researched this a lot when having my FD being painted. What I figured Glasurit and Spies Hecker were at the top of the line. But what I also figured having a good painter is more important than having quality materials and a mediocre painter.
EDIT: I think Glasurit is same as BASF

I've been leaning towards using SPI Primers and clears, and likely Deltron base. spendy, but it should be good. Most definitely awaiting more input though.
