Turbo oil drain gasket

Hi all

I have a cheap ebay turbo, the same as the link below.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/281955306605?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
It came on the car and I don't need to hear how crap it is. It actually serves me well except for the fact that the oil drain gasket is not a standard T3 gasket.
T3 gasket has a square drain hole. You can see in the photos the drain on this turbo is circular.
The gasket otherwise works as the bolt holes line up. There is very slight overlap of the square over the circle drain hole. The flange is larger than the gasket so not ideal but I expect it would seal ok.
Should I use the gasket as is or trim the square to enlarge it a little?
I think given the drain is not under pressure the tiny restriction it provides
should not matter?
Given it will be done up tight I would assume the pressure on the slight overlap over the circle drain hole won't cause it to rip - any thoughts?
I will also use some high temperature sealant around the gasket.
I have asked the seller on ebay to try find the correct gasket with a circle hole but cant find them anywhere.
The gasket wasn't leaking badly, only a small weep, but I had the turbo off anyway to replace other gaskets so figured it was worth doing.

Opinions appreciated (unless it is buy a new turbo).
