What gauge speaker wire????
Do I need a heavy gauge wire to run from the amp to the speakers? I'm going to use 18awg, which looks a bit small. The speakers are gonna get about 100w each.

I agree, at 100 watts RMS (and I am assuming full range-15Hz to 25Khz or 20Hz to 20Khz) you would want 14 awg wire.
The stock 18 awg is fine for up to 50 watts and you won't notice any difference using it vs heavier gauge wire at power levels up to 50 watts RMS.
