Talking What color should I paint my FC?

I pretty much finished primering my FC out and put on some new bling rims (SSR 2 piece 17x7.5) now... what color should I paint it?

The car is an 87 sport and started out as that darker blue metallic color. The engine bay is still that color.

any ideas on range of colors/tint I could use? House of Color colors?

Mike,

Are you going to keep the engine bay the original color or are you going to match it to the exterior?

I was thinking about a blue color as well, but I figured some one else would do it, so I decided against it (although it does look nice).

Regarding the candy red...that red NEVER shows up properly in photos. Looks good in person though.

I've seen the orange. Depends on the orange though.

Myself, I'm going w/ a brighter and more gleaming white...I think.

Did you sand off all the original paint and then primer???

strip the car to bear metal then spray a clear coat over it.

I sanded down to the base coat since it was still in good shape.

Pink would be cool...hehe...but I dont have a crazy RE kit or a 500rwhp engine.

I was going to do a deep metallic green but someone has done it

I was thinking

metallic brownish (YES!)
dark metallic green
C5 Corvette blue
Jetta metallic blue
350Z daytona blue

why did you prime the whole car...if the paint was in decent shape you could have wet sanded the whole car and sprayed a sealer and then go with the jetta metallic blue..then wet sand that then shoot the clear..then wet sand that...then you have the sweetest rx on the block...

the fenders and hood were from a diff color car, and some areas had to be taken down to the metal... im a stickler for uniformity-- especially because it gives me some procrastination time on what color to choose, and some room if I want to do a complete color change
