What amps fit in FC storage bins?
I am looking at getting 2 amps for my next setup. I would like to have a 4ch for my speakers and either a mono or bridge a 2 ch for my sub. You guys know of any that will fit in the staoge bin. I don't think that you can fit anything with a width greater than 10 1/2 without customizing the bins, is this the route I am going to have to take if I plan to use the bins? I was thinking maybe a sony 604, but with the 11" width I was kinda detoured. Just wanted to know what some of you guys have if you have any amps in there at all.

I have a US Acoustics 4 channel USX-4065 mounted in the drivers side storage bin. Dimensions in inches are 11 x 9.6 x 2.5 and it fits without problem. I had to fashion a wooden platform for it to sit on, but it was fairly easy, piece of plywood and a few small 2x4's. This lifted it up so it has air space surrounding the unit for cooling and air flow. I don't see why your amp wouldn't fit in either bin.

i had a ppi pro-mos 50 and an A404 in the pocket behind the driver seat of my 10th AE...as well as 91 door panels so i could have my MB Quart 3-way set...and a one-off fiberglass sub enclosure in the passenger side corner with a JL Audio 10W6...and an eclipse ECD-415 going into a ppi PAR-225 and then through the ppi FRX-322.... the best sounding car you'll never hear.

dude i have the enclosure somewhere. i have pix somewhere but i sold this car 4 years ago. i have some pics of the car that i guarantee you will masterbate to, but they are scanned and "the file you are attempting to attach is too big". i truly am sorry for you guys, for i have had cars that you would kill me for. anyway, the enclosure was built by my friend at the stereo shop we worked at. mental picture....piece of 3/4" mdf from the edge of the spare tire flap (two screw release things and fold forward to get to spare), go straight ahead to the back side of the pass side strut mount. hold in place and lay glass in it to mold to the inside of the cargo area. seal up with a top pieace of mdf and make finishing false panels..pro-mos 50 300 watts @ 3 ohms mono...132db and sound quality so good, george lucas would *** all over my dash
