washing car after sanding, before priming

ive been sanding the car for a while now and its almost ready for primer. but i have one quick question. on some areas, the paint was actually quite thin and quickly went to bare metal while sanding. how should i go about washing the car properly without having to worry about rust? thanks!

It depends on what step of priming you are doing. If you are using something like Slicksand just blow the dust out of the cracks etc. If you are doing a 2K step just wash it with water and keep an eye for bare metal. After the car dries just hit any bare metal with some 320 right before priming.
