Anyone have any experience with Vis Racing. Thinking about ordering a rear bumper from them...

I bought a 99 spec cf wing from them, the wing is great, and the carbon fiber work is beautiful.

unfortunatly their customer service is ****.

Everything I have recieved from them has been top notch quality and great fit. Those are pretty much the only Hoods I will run because of the fitment and quality. They can be a little hard to deal with as someone already said, but the products are great.

Seems good. I`m ordering the bumper through a dealership here in Norway, so it was first of all the quality and fitment I was wondering about. Just hope I will receive it before the summer.... Need to get new paint on the car!

that may be where your only problem may show up. Great quality of work though!

Chris, how long ago was this? Because VIS really had major issues a few years back, but about 2 years ago, they changed everything from top to bottom (I believe they got bought out by a diff company), and from there, things really took off.

You can see all over the forum people being very happy w/ their VIS parts, esp. fitment. Many people run their CF hoods, and many others run their body parts. I have both: front bumper, rear bumper, sideskirts, and hood. Fitment is excellent.

André_J, I'd suggest that you wait a bit more and get their polyfiber parts. Just as light as fiberglass, can be repaired like fiberglass, but flexible and reselient like polyurethane, so it can take a beating and won't just crack like fibgerglass That's what my entire body kit is made out of.

That's Surprising, I push VIS onto my customers because of their quality.

I've gotta say in past years they were known as the cheapest option and were the definition of you get what you pay for. Could be different now, but I'd check out their rating at the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.gov)

Again, the question is, when where the respective complaints filed? Before or after VIS underwent a complete makeover? There's prob a good reason why they had to change everything, including their image

I got ton of stuff from VIS.. guy named Simon seems to be very good.
I haven't seen their work (didn't have time to go see it). But I'm planning to see some of the parts tonight or tomorrow.

I was part of a group buy which bought a real 99 wing and sent it to vis, vis then made a copy and sold to us. Total price was 400 shipped i think. (including the price of the donor wing)

you can find the thread in the group buy section if you wanna look

I got the following from them..

Its a different replica than chucks and original. The front duct does not flow to the back.. Its blocked.. I guess its ok.. I'm going to channel it to my intake..

Hatch looks to be good.. I can't tell until its on the car but quality looks good and by what others have said.. they seem to fit ok..

comparing their 99 wing.. small imperfection but looks to be ok.. and pretty good copy. I'm going to use my real 99 base with the cf VIS deck.

Gotcha. I know the quality is great, but I just wanna make sure such a large peice fits good, since there's not much you can do w/ CF. I know their hoods fit awesome...

My bumper from VIS was the biggest piece of crap I'd ever seen. It took a whole lot of work to make it fit right and to make the fiberglass smooth. (it was rippled, sagging, flexed, etc.) It also took a damn long time to get. It was bought about 3 months ago BTW. My VIS cf hood however, fits perfect. I wouldn't reccomend them though, Evan
