Very Simple Gauge Question, Please Help...

I ordered a DEFI D-gauge boost gauge, and recieved it in the mail today. On the website i ordered from, it said it was an electric gauge, but when I recieved it, the tubing needs to go directly to the back of the gauge, which I always thought meant it was a mechanical gauge? I was under the impression that an electrical gauge was one that the boost sensor would be in the engine bay, and it sends an electric signal via wiring to the boost gauge in the dash. Am I wrong or was this mislabled?

What site? That gauge is mechanical. There is no electrical boot gauge in that series. I don't think there are too many electrical boot gauges out there.

Right under D-Gauge Boost Gauges it says " 52mm Electronic Gauges" which I figured meant it was an electronic gauge.

Not to mention they also didn't send me my gauge pod in the order .

Yup, it is mechanical. I see many places that say they're electric. It's somewhat of an oddball in the rest of Defi's all-electric product line, like the Links. It's an honest mistake, I don't think they're trying to bait and switch or anything.

It's still a great gauge.

I love my mechanical boost gauge. I had to run vac line into the car for my greedy profec b anyways, so I saved money on a greddy mechanical gauge. They are just as accurate.
