Well the new Rx-7 D1 kit looks great and the RX-8 kits kick *** but NOW look at the paint jobs at Toyko Auto Salon!!!!


And yes even the Nissans are Cool!!!

 

The Rx-8 is ugly as **** man. The FD looks okay but i'll have to see it in person.

Whats the deal with the tree graphics?
Isent a plane colour just enough these days.

 

I like the japanese flavor with the graphics imho. At least it's not F&F graphics with a flaying robot b/s with a spear

 

The rx7 bumper looks like it has melted onto the floor in front of the car.

 

Thats something i dont like about aftermarket kits...the front lips stick out to far and look like a spatula.

Best front nose i seen is the Border type 4. Agressive yet smooth a stylie. Just need some skirts to match it.

 

HA HA HA! Now I can't look at it without seeing the bumper melt onto the floor.

well it's better then the old veilside kits (there not as good as feed but nothing is) but the art work I mean paint jobs have that nice art like feel to them

 

The new veilside stuff is nice, quite a bit more toned down, it's somewhat like their older older kits now.

Veilside is extreme high fashion like Versace stuff...not really that great looking, but very expensive.

You're right, it's not F&F, it's lamer.

The tree could be a symbol for something in japanese culture, but WTF does it have to do with a CAR.

I live in South Dakota, and you will NEVER see a HUGE pheasant graphic running down the sides of my car. EVER. The day outrageous graphics die can't come soon enough.

It was really hard to get a decent shot as the lighting on that stand was intense.

As stated, it's a more subtle kit than we're used to from them, but I will say:

* It looked worse in the flesh

* The graphics looked better (but still crap)

 

It's a car show man, they have to catch the consumer's eye somehow. I didn't say i'd do that to my car.

 

I know it's a show car, and I realize the graphics are there to attract attention. My point was, the graphics, like a lot of the body kits, are getting to be completely over the edge.

 

Go Veilside!!! Bad friggin ***!!!

 

id take a white C1 kit personnaly over the new veilside

 

it would suck to get beat by a car with flowers on it though...

The new kit is so tight!!! I love it, and I definitely agree with the "redemption" note. I don't like the graphics, but I personally think that Veilside is really on to something with this kit.

I agree that the companies need every edge in a car show to get attention. I'm going to have to agree with a lot of other people however, the tree theme has to go. I DO like the pheasant idea though .

 

Veilsides S15 at D1 looked beautiful. They had the 7 kit at their stand at D1. Looked okay, personally I would go with the Vertex kit before I go with the veilside one. That S15 was so georgous though

 

a few words of the wise and tasteful:

Stock, Carbon fiber lip, sides, and rear diffusor, single color paintjob, no stickers or trees please.
