URGENT--->You guys with C-west Bumpers, How did you....
I ordered a c-west n1 replica and it doesn't have any mounting places....is this because it is a cheap replica?? or do all bumpers come like that??
I ask because my car is in the body shop and the guys there said that it would be about $500 in labor to get the bumper to fit (and attach) to the car. There are no mounting points and they will have to rebuild them so they can even try to bolt it to the car.
I am feeling ripped off by the group buy if I have to pay that to install this replica...for that price I could have just purchased the real thing.
Was I ripped off or would this have happened on a real thing bumper too??
If you are interested I will sell you this c-west replica N1 for $400 (+ shipping) but I
need to know tonight because the shop is going to put it on tomorrow.
Thanks
-Dave

The body shop is trying to rip you of !!! My friend has a shop and he does body kit fitting and installing no paint 200 bucks that's the hole kit .And yes the kits come with no holes !

you're talking about mounting holes?? Dude, that'e very easy to do. I'm doing all the labor on my c-west kit and the front bumper has the mounting places but no holes drilled out. I'd say the body shop is trying to rip you off is they want that much just to dril holes out.

I looked at the bumper where it should be drilled, there isn't anything to drill into. There is a 3/4" lip and there is only places for 2 of the 3 holes on each side. There isn't even a wide enough place for the third bolt. And where it mounts near the hood latch, it has to be rebuilt. the bumper does't even touch the cross bar of the car. it is about 1.5 inches away.
RedTT where did you get your kit? maybe it was a better replica than mine...
I am glad yours can be done without having to take it in.
I will take pics and post them before having the shop work on it.
Then you guys can have a look and see what I got...

You got a REAL C-West from MotoRex then. I just orderd my REAL C-West kit from them today and after reading this I am SOOO HAPPY I did, plus it only cost me $1500 for a Full Front & Rear, plus Side Skirts but that is because I got a lil hook-up.
