Universal cellphone mount for PFC

Just thought I'll share it with you guys, maybe you've seen it before.
Found this mount at my local Radio Shack for only 3 bucks. Basicly it's just a universal cellphone mount clipped into the center vent. Once mounted the commander is very easily viewed by the driver side. Works great so far, even on bumpy roads. The commander stays firmly in place. There is also a piece of foam on the mount to keep the commander from vibrating and swiveling around.

I bought that from an online cell phone shop for about $20, and mounted it there. It's completely adjustable, and works very well with my line of sight, etc.

Here is a link to the shop I bought it from.

As far as ordering from them went, everything was smooth and easy.

Shinobi-X, does the windshield mount like that annoy you due to obstructing your view?

I'd don't think I'd be able to use that because it looks like it would hinder the field of view. I had to relocate my radar detector due to similar reasons (detector is now hanging directly to the right of the rear view mirror). I like a nice clear view of the road. I find that it's extremely hard to track the car without a nice broad vision scope.

It does get in the way a bit, but nothing that's annoying. I actually prefer it in my line of vision when testing the car, as I don't have to move my eyes too far from the direction I'm going. When cruising around though -because of how far back I sit myself in the car- I can easily see to the right side of it when needing to change lanes. Once I can see my side views, and rear view mirrors, I'm also okay.

I should note though, that I adjust it as I do my rear view mirror whenever I drive. You can change the position of it with the arm, but if you had trouble with a radar detector, then I would say you would be bothered by this mounting position as well.

Dang, I guess I went cheap. Piece of velcro stuck on the dash. Never drops the treo, though.
