Yea too bad your friend's dishonest as hell. I bought a set of seats from him + rails. Seats came, rails never showed up. Communication was excellent until I told him the rails weren't there. He said he lost one of them, so kept the other to make a copy of it and would ship it back to me ASAP. After that, he wouldn't pick up his cell, they wouldn't answer at the shop, they wouldn't respond to my voicemails or emails, NADA. I waited SIX MONTHS w/ this BS, until I called my credit card company (Platinum member). They straight PULLED the money from HIS bank, b/c I had proof he didn't deliver the complete product.

So in that sense, I don't like 'em, and won't ever deal w/ them again. On the flipside, I've sold several Recaro seats to date, and the set I got from him are BY FAR the best condition ones I've ever seen.

~Ramy

PS: I have a set of Spirit R Recaros (red) that I'll be putting up for sale shortly, although my friend's getting first dibs (if he wants 'em). They're a bit faded and aren't perfect, but overall in good condition, so they'll go for cheaper than usual.

10.5 lb each, w/o the rails, as per my kitchen scale

anyone know how much a stock seat weights? i just see spending 4gs on seats unless the stock seat weights 100+pounds and will knock down 2 tenths off your et. 200pounds off=2tenths. then i could see it for some hard hard core person that has money to burn. which would be me if i had that kind of money.

I was having problems contacting them after my credit card was charged. I have no idea if they really have the tranny or not.
This guy I called"ED" assured that he got the tranny onhand, but it took until March 1 to deliver here in SF,CA. After I found a shipper myself

When I got the tranny it was shipped inside a cardboard box with peanut foams. When I opened the box I did not find any Axle at all and the tranny does not look like it came from 98 mr2.

The problem now is getting a response from the shop after consistent phone calls and e-mails. I dont know why they would not respond. Its been a week now ,yet I still get no response.
Note: The have ebay auctions going. If I use my ebay address to inquire about ther ebay auctions, they respond quickly ( they dont know its me) But if I email them about my tranny they wont answer at all.

Anybody from Miami can give me some info about them or will be able to contact them?
Any advised of what I should do?

Heres info about them.
