what are the dimentions of your sub?
why not just make a box that will fit, heck I have been able to put a 15inch sub in the rear of my FD with plenty room so unless your running a 20+inch sub, you should beable to fit it in there. BTW: I went down to a 12 inch sub because it gave me a bit more room and it is still plenty loud enuf for me.

I have a 12" Pioneer Premier sub in my FD, and it fits fin (with room to spare for a couple of small nitrous bottles). You just have to find the right size box, and rip all of the Bose stuff out and replace it w/ regular speakers
