Alright - I managed to ground the unit and get an antenna adapter however I'm only getting two radio stations....one mexican station and the other is a classic rock station. Is this related to just using the larger of the two antennas?

Just great - I'm looking for technical help and get 16 views while ******** looking for a pic or an opinion on the blingiest body kit get 5 times that amount...

poor guy.
Your adapter only usues one antenna wire? That MUST be the reason. You need all two to be converted into one fitting aftermarket radios.
But, mexican and classic rock stadion is not bad, hah? :P

The German (-> RHD European?) version has a 2-to-1-adaptor before the radio.
It's in the middle of the car where your knees are.

Yeah, I saw that diagram however I was wondering if both were necessary on a head unit with only one antenna input - I guess I have to find a 2 -> 1 adapter.
