does n/e one know n/e websites on now to install the stereo and head unit on the FD? it would be very helpful! cuz i'm working on mine and i wanna be sure i don't mess up! or if you could how to take my pannels or!

You don't need to remove any panels to replace the stereo. There are some little covers at the ends of the stock stereo face. Remove them to reveal two small holes at each end. Bend up a coat hanger and stick it into the holes (do two U-bends to cover all four holes at once) and move the U-bends outward from the center to unhook the stereo. Use your third arm to pull the stock stereo out, perhaps with a finger in the tape player hole. Unplug it and throw it at a wall to see what noise it makes.

Buy a Mazda harness from Pep Boys or a car stereo store ($10-20). Wire it up to your new stereo's harness. Install the sleeve for your new stereo into the hole in the dash. Buy or build an adapter for the antenna wire if you need to (both my new stereo and the antenna cable from the car were male on my car, so I had to make an adapter with two female antenna plugs). Plug in the antenna wire. Plug the harness you made into the stock wiring and the back of your new stereo. Slide the new stereo in. Rock out.

You can pick up a set of "Ford Radio Removal Tools" for $3 at Wal-Mart in their car audio section. With these, the radio is out in under 10 seconds, and it won't break the clips if you ever want to put it back in.
