Hey guys, i was reading a thread on "Pic FC paint job" on the 2nd gens. The dude stripped all the paint down to bare metal, and i think it looks really cool, almost like a Delorean. Of course, if this is left unpainted, the car will rust in a matter of minutes. Does anyone know if it's possible to seal or paint ONLY clear paint ontop of this so it could show the metal color instead of a paint color? Thanks

Can be done , but to look the best, you would need to sand it with very fine grit with strokes all in the same direction .Any small dents or waves will look bigger . Just paint it , and drive. The girls are waiting .

 

if it can be done, i'd be REALLY interested on how it could be done. Any links or how-to guide? I'd never seen a car that shows it's true color, besides the delorean. It would looks NICE on an RX7. thanks for the reply
