Looks good, are those Oem spirit R seats? i would like to see a better pic of them (is there spirit R logo stitched in them or anything?)
Do u have any plans to get the 99 wing or do u prefer the R1 spoiler?

I prefer the R1 rear wing, no real desire to go to 99 spec. I've been looking at the FEED rear wing but am trying to keep my expenditures down to performance related parts.
Attached are a few more pics, showing the red-stitched Spirit R-type steering wheel installed. It's from a 2005 Mazdaspeed Miata, and I actually prefer this stitching to the real Spirit R wheel. A customer at the shop with a CYM has the real deal so I was able to compare them closely.
The other pics are of my engine bay, not too much different except I cleaned up the vacuum hoses. Got rid of all the plastic vacuum tees (the one pictured is stainless steel) and gave the MAP sensor and FPR their own dedicated vacuum lines. Car seems to run smoother, not sure if it's my imagination or not
Edit: Oops, almost forgot I installed my Rotary Extreme hood dampers which had been laying around for too long. Easy install with a second set of hands (thanks Mr. Huk) and they are SO much nicer to use and look at then the stock prop rod, which has been officially deep-sixed
Edit2: Definitely need to start using my camera again, this one is my parent's and the pics came out kinda like poo

VERY clean FD!!!!!
I would like to do the black leather/red stitching combination too with my shift boot, shift ****, and steering wheel eventually...as well as pick up some R2 Suede seats...mmmm
First I need to replace a couple broken interior pieces, like my center console/shifter panel that doesn't seem to clip into place...I think one of the little clips is broken off..
>_<
But enough about me.....again, SUPER clean FD!!!
Your interior and engine bay look amazing!

Did you have to drill a set of holes for this miata steering wheel? How was the wiring?
I have a mazdaspeed protege steering wheel that I'm thinking of putting in.
Also, I notice on the 2nd picture that the brace is right on top of the hose coupling. Mine is damage becaused of this. I have an OEM brace. what motor mounts are you using if you are not damaging this coupling?

great car!
One idea for improvement though...
Are you planning of rerouting that air intake? That placement is sub-optimal. Close to the engine/turbo and the radiator bows hot air right into it.

Thanks for all the props guys and gals
zen, as the engine bay sits I don't have many options.......the only one that I can see is to run a 90 degree coupler off the turbo towards the driver's side of the bay, and use a larger filter. Problem is, then it'll really be sucking in hot radiator air. Between my turbo placement, radiator placement, and oem non-pop up headlights I'm really hurting for room.
When I drop in the new motor, I may end up getting a V-mount kit which will really open up my options.
