Speedometer Options?

Hey guys,

I have a 02 FD, white gauges that max out at 180km/h

I was wondering what the options are for higher limit speedometer. I know there's the Mazdaspeed and Amemiya ones, besides those is the only other option to go digital?

What happens if I remove the speed limiter and go beyond 180km/h? Would the mess with the calibration or operation of the speedometer?

If you look in the 3rd gen specific section there's a pretty big thread covering speed hut gauge installs in the stock locations.

As far as I know, going past the max indicated speed wouldn't hurt anything within the speedometer.
