Question Specific side skirt modification?

I'm thinking about getting the Knight Sports side skirts, but don't like the vents on them. Has anyone modified these side skirts to where the vents are covered to give it a smoother look? Can it be done?Any pics would be appreciated.

Thanks

Apexi's sideskirts look almost just like those except without the vent. May be easier than modifying.

Is that your car Ethan? Nice ride. What type of rear skirt is that? I am planning to get the Knight Sports one because of its price. It is much cheaper than the Apexi side-skirts, but I don't like the vents on them. So is it possible to cover it with body filler material and sand it down?

Yes....a good body shop will fill it in for you and make it flush with the rest of the skirt. They do that here in NZ so im sure you can do it there too.

No, that's not my car, it's another forum members. The side and rear are A'pexi. I know next to nothing about body work, but I assume that it would be pretty straight forward to fill the vents. They are a little silly looking, aren't they

If its fiberglass sides then all you need is some fiberglass filling....its easy for a bodyshop to do. Like I want to get those border fenders with the doubble vent on the sides but i hate the vents on the top side....so just ask the bodyshop to mold them closed.

Apexi Skirts

Well, I am not getting the racing beat skirts. I will just wait and get the Apexi ones. Does anyone have anymore pics of FDs with these side skirts? The more the better.

Thanks
