Hey just wondering if any of you out there have had any expirence with the sony CDXM800 its the flip out sony with a display on it. Also where did you get it? I bought mine from Circuit City just wondering what you guys think of them.

 

i have that h/u in my FD. i love the thing. looks great, has pretty good sound quality, and i havent had one problem with it. it doesnt even skip (which is amazing with my suspension setup)

 

Car toys stopped selling Sony products - they said it was cheap!? I have a Panasonic myself and it rocks!

Idk Im gettting one in a car im buying and idk I just prefer alpine and really dont have expirence just have heard horror stories.

I have had plenty of friends buy sony products, (specifically car products) becuase of the fame that is sony, having great audio/video. Yada yada... Then having them return it months later changing their mind...

My friend had that head unit, crapped out. Replaced it from best buy or wherever he got it, crapped out again. Then he got something else, and then his Sony Xplode amp was also crap and same with the speakers. They just don't sound very good in comparison with other car brands.

Granted some people love the stuff, it may work fine for them etc. They may be lucky, or they may not be as demanding on the system as others.. This is just what I have seen in my personal experience. I won't buy any Sony products for my car..

 

Yeah that's the reason why I didn't get a Sony HU to match my interior lighting better - cuz they suck sissy dick..... Although my bro has one and it's been good for a while now......... and it's a motorized face........

I have a CDX-M630 and I love the thing....there is nothing wrong with Sony just because it is common......who invinted the Walkman? the MD Player? made CD Players popular?

i hope you can make yourself happy with it, for the money you coulda done better (unless you really got a steal)

sell that deck in whatever car you're buying, get something worth listening to, like an alpine, or eclipse
