Hello, I have installed LED bulbs into the Sonar lights; Will it be OK to mount the rubber boot in the back or will this cause any issues?

 

I'm asking if the housing of the bulb will get too hot and melt the rubber? Will it interfere with fan in the housing?

 

I guess this is a stupid question, that's why I'm not getting any replies!

 

the rubber seal will be fine to leave installed, as the fan will vent,

i think your bigger reason for not getting a response, is its not the right way to go about LED/HID install into these housings, as you are not using a projector retrofitted in.
as it still will be scattering the beam, you will still likely blinding oncoming traffic.

 

Thank you, I've been looking at a few threads on putting projectors in the housing.

 

From everything I've seen and read leds just don't output light in a projector correctly. The traditional reflective housing style is better for leds beam style.
