I have two 6" wide red stripes with a 1/4" pin stripe on the outside on a silver '93. I added the stripes (by pro body detailing shop) 4 years ago and there are vinyl and look as good at the day they were installed. I added them after seeing a R&T magazine cover showing the new Shelby Cobra (silver with red stripes). If someone can tell me how to upload the file to this site, I'll post the pic.

heres another pic of the red one before without the stripes for sum1 . so you can judge if the fd looks better with or without the stripes. Im about 90% sure its the same one! NICE!

*edit* IM 100% sure it is....the filename was "no stripe"
hehe

I think one or two stripes accent the car very well. Just don't do the stripes off to the side....

Send your charitable donations to me and I will purchase the 20b that I have been looking at lately.

Yeah especially that shelby cobra, it looked sooo out of place on that car; no, no wait... it looked great on that car. GO WITH THE STRIPES IF YOU LIKE IT!

Heres an easy way to experiment with racing strips. Buy some clear tape(the kind used to wrap gifts), a roll of white paper, and some cans of spray paint. Cut the paper to simulate the racing strips and paint to your desired color. Tape your painted strips on the car and stand a ways back to admire your work. This is the safest way I know of to experiment with racing stripes without painting the car.

Stripes aren't my cup of tea, but if it's what you want you should do it.

There's one guy on here with a 99+ conversion, the car is painted lambo blue w/ a single silver stripe I always thought looked killer. Can't remember who he is tho, tpcplaya could probably find the pic tho.
