were getting screwed over !

US generation 2 RX-7 owners have the hardest time finding after market performance parts for our cars... and when we FINALLY find something.... it takes twice as long to get someone to work on it..... O MAN !

Talking cool body kit

About the only cool body kit for the FC that I have found is by Knightsports. You can fiond it at: www.rxecret7.com

They also have a cool vented hood for it too. This is what I am putting on my FC.

I found the only way to get perf parts for my FB is to make them
thankfully I work at a metal fab shop and can make stuff we can't buy.
Thankfully RB still makes exhaust systems for our cars !

Don't worry, be happy - I've been into Rx7's since the early '80's and can remember not even 10 years ago how little stuff was available for any Rx7's, even the 3rd gen. There's just not much of a market for 1st and 2nd gen parts. Jack

I have both an FC and an FD. I will say that the FD parts are easier to find, and they have more places that will service them. But I think the FD is more expensive. And with more products...it means that I will spend more money. So be happy to have an FC.

I just went to that site and the second gen looks like a Porsche. A lot like one. I don't know if I like it or not. The best one I've seen for a second is the Run Racing kit.

i agree
Ran or Run Racing (seen it spelled as both so it just confuses me) makes the best FC kit, there are many that are badass but I think this one is best all around

There is another bright side to not as much stuff for the FC. If you have custom work done on your car you wont have to worry about seeing sombody else with the same thing as you. Since there is hardly anything out there us FC owners are forced to do more custom stuff.

Actually there are finally some parts for FC's more readily available and cheaper too... better bodykits, real widebody fenders, carbon fiber parts and much better fitting wheels too. Most of the hardcore stuff for FC's are race-only and they've been available all along from AWR and MazdaCompetition but youre right theyre certainly NOT cheap!
