Hi all,

Searching for a Scoot hood and have found heaps of US-based companies supplying replicas...

My question is: Which ones are of an "ACCEPTABLE" quality...

I live in New Zealand and it's going to cost me around $400 USD in shipping and clearance ALONE, so I hence why i'm trying to find the least expensive YET acceptable one... not interested in those that are rippley... but ones with uneven gaps around the fenders and bumper are ok.

I've seen the Rotary Extreme version, and it fits really good. I believe the RX7Store sells the same version.

Hmmmmm.... Rotary Extreme's Sccot Hood looks the shiznit, but at $1150 USD that's outta my price range... don't get me wrong, I'm sure you get what you pay for... any companies out there selliung the hoods for half that price?

I keep reading that there are "overseas made" replicas available in the US but where I don't know. Can anyone enlighten me please?

The Rotary Extreme hood is a replica. The original is over $2000 USD.

Yep, that's Art's new look. New front, new rear skirts, new paint job.

 

hey guys i have a bunch of AUTHENTIC scoot hoods i need to get rid of in my garage, $750 , obviously perfect fit. let me know..

the original scoot hood sells for over $2k. the scoot hoods from hong kong sells for $500 and both have fitment problems. i know first hand.
