OK so i know this is bad but dont dismiss this thread ok here it goes... I was watching the fast and the furious... ok(a sigh of relief) now that thats over with on vin diesels car his stereo setup does anyone know what that screen is that pulses to the music volume cause i think its kinda cool. I know someone knows so please answer.

 

1: you need a screen
2: you need something to display that.....cheapest way....modded xbox....the possibilities are endless with it.

but i just want the screen seen in that clip i dont want to stuff an xbox back there(1 theres no room and 2 the xbox is staying in my room)

 

well, in the movie that was just a screen.....you have to have something displaying something on the screen....to have something displayed of images reacting to sound frequencies like in the movie.....you're gonna need a computer.....an xbox is the cheapest way.....btw you dont have to "stuff the xbox back there'.....you can extend the rca jacks, video to the screen, audio to your cd deck....

 

zer0...i was actually just about to hook up an xbox to an indash screen just for games and dvd but if i can modit and get it to pulse to the sonds frequencies like in that movie...it would be AWESOME!!!!....so tell me

what mods do i need for the xbox or what site should i go to for info on something like this?

 

need a mod chip of course......then there's media players floating around everywhere.....im sure one of them has something that does this.

My brother had a similar head unit in his 00' Lightning but he soon sold it, so Im not sure he will know which model it was. I do know it was Kenwood, and it had the option of being indash unit or had a button and the face would pop out and it had a few diffrent backgrounds that bounced to the beats. I'll ask him whenever he gets home.
