Jeeze, after all those pages im suprised no one posted my POS.

I bought this car from someone with bad taste...(IMO) I wanted to save it from being completely taken over.

NOTE: I DID NOT DO THIS TO THE CAR, I BOUGHT IT LIKE THIS.





I have had the car for only a couple of months, I bought it becuase Turbo II's are hard to find in my area. I wanted to have a project car... so Paint is coming up soon. Just wanted to get the car running sound first.

Needless to say the previous owner was lacking something.....

Right now the car looks like this:



Stock Turbo II wing with the stock S5 GXL rims ( I think found in junk yard...) so I could get rid of those horrid rims.

I know its still ugly until painted so, have another laugh at it while you can. Im going to paint it the color of my Starion. (The car to the left of the FC it in the picture...)

Sadly, I don't think the paint is THAT bad. The wing and wheels were killing it. You are a savior.

 

Well thanks for the complements. I don't know how many times I was yelled at by people just on my way home from picking up the car. Or how many people would rev their engine etc. It was pretty sad, well the project is moving right along. I just figured id throw out those pictures for all to see some before and after shots later down the road.

Yeeep, im sure that was my car.. Kind of hard not to forget it at this point. Hehe. I wanted to see if I was near stock performance wise... Since i know it was running like crap before. my SAFC II arived tonight, so that should be fun to help with the over richness.

 

 

Someone needs to "save" that vert from continuing it's life as a piece of crap. I love how they have Toyota lights all over a Mazda! COMPLETELY DUMB. Blah, someone should buy it and salvage what the owner didn't bling out, then run the car off a cliff. Hideous.

 

I think that thing is beyond help, it just needs to go to the scrap yard... after beeing parted out for the 2-3 mazda parts left in it

PoLaK, dude, what are you talkin about? That FD is the hotEST evAR! lol. Look at that torque curve drawing on the side of it...so you KNOW it's fast lol. Oh and those rims, just WOW. That's the hotness right there man. Those look a LOT like someone took a imprint of my FB stocker rims, and instead of using the mold, they used the cast lol. Either that, or it's some stencil work haha. Besides, you KNOW it's not REALLY an FD cuz look at the light beam pattern. That's incredible compared to an FD's REAL stock light beam pattern. Sometimes, I think driving w/ a flashlight pointed from the dash could do a better job...

 

I agree. That Godzilla dude builds some ugly *** cars. And he is the first one to bash someone about looks too. Go figure.
