Running wires for audio

I'm going to be running my amp kit for my amps today and I was wondering where most of you guys have your wires running? I know that you can run them up the sides but that'd mean removing the rear panels. I was just thinking of running them up the middle under the panel there. If anyone has pictures of their car apart and the wires running through, that'd be even better. This is far a 94 FD.

remember to try to run the audio wires seprate of your hot wires.. it'll rule out the chance of feedback.. I have my car stripped and the wires pretty much layed out.. I'll hook you up with a pic when i go into my shop

What do you mean seperate of my hot wires? I know that you should run your RCA's/speaker wire for components on seperate side than your power wires is that what you meant?

Oh, another thing, I'm deadening my doors too (is 20sqft enough to deaden both?) do you have any tips for that? If I can, I'm going to try and and deaden the inside of the actual door and then seal off the holes in the door with whatever I have left.

Also, I ordered http://edesignaudio.com/product.php?...pid=29&cur=USD those components. I've dealt with Elemental Designs a lot and these components are top of the line for a pretty good price. What kind of baffel am I going to have to make for these components to fit in the door?

How many layers are you trying to do?.. I have 3 in the outer door skin.. and one where the trim attaches to the door... I would say.. 20 foot isn't going to be enough.. quite a bit of the sound from the outside comes through the doors...

not sure how much you will need.. but if you live near a lowes.. pm me.. and i'll tell you where to get some cheaper stuff that'll do the same job

Tidbit, do you think this is fine?

I ran my power wire down the drivers side and then I have my RCA's going up the middle and then one of them goes left and the other goes right and meet where the pass through is. And then run my driver side component speaker/tweeter wire down the right side and then passenger speaker/tweeter wire down the left side. I know you're supposed to keep speaker wire/rca's away from the power wire, but I think it'll be okay, you think?
