i was just wondering if anyone knows where to get a RUN racing hood for a 2nd generation rx7. i found one on a web site once but it wasn't in english and nether was the price. i assumed it was japan currency and when i tryed converting to american it came up over a 1,000 dollars, is that right????? please help

 

Hoods for rx-7's are hellishly expensive! All rx-7 parts are as a matter of fact (if you haven't noticed)!
My friend has a Honda CRX he uses to pick up the chicks :P and he got the crx for $500, got a body kit for $675, and made a totally pimped out crx for under $3000! He also B18 motor swapped it so it runs 13's, which means it can almost keep up with me. This was a crushing blow. Nobody should be able to make that cool and fast of a car for that little money. Anyway, ya that prolly was right... I HATE buying rx-7 parts!

 

Which is why I bought a 94 GSR. I paid ~$8000 for it, and am putting in about $10,000 ($7000 performance, $3000 appearance [JDM front])...and it'll run low 13s.

 

with 10 grand you could make a 7 hella fast...

 

my buddy's got a crx too and he just put the jdm zc motor in it and i'm sure he'll be able to keep up and probably pass me... its just no fair. we've got one thing they don't though, ROTARY!!!! so do you know where to get the RUN racing hood from??

they dont make cheap hood for 2nd gen'
even the STOCK turbo hood will run you 250+ easy, go figure

and 10k my car will be pimping and running 11/12's
