RS*R Exhaust

Hi all! I have just picked up my FC , imported from Japan, and I can’t find any info on my exhaust! I know it is an RS*R exhaust but I’m interested to find out more about it as I can’t find anything online. Can anyone help?

RSR had a few different exhausts and cat-backs over the years. both single and dual
typically its going to be 80mm piping, and the old ones will be mild steel in to a mild steel oval muffler.
newer ones look like the typical stainless round style muffler.

Racing Beat used to buy from RSR, so the good RB exhaust is just a rebranded RSR

Would you happen to know what years racing beat bought them?

1985 to maybe the late 90's? its really easy to tell, the RSR systems are 80mm pipe. the RB made systems are 70mm pipe.

that’s really interesting! I’ll have to have a measure of mine later haha! I suppose it’ll most likely be RB as my fc is 1990

peep game, as Elliot used to say

the OLD Rb catalog is cool it makes me want to build a car...

here is the smoking gun, and RB stamped FD single tip with an RSR Jasma tag on it. the early stuff is mild steel, with that black coating, and later they switch to stainless
