Riz's Project "ReX": Update w/Pics
Hey,
Well my car is definitely a "shop-queen." This is the 4-5th times it's been out of one shop and directly to the next. These are a few pictures of the car being picked up from the bodyshop and back on its way to my shop. I changed up a LOT of things, including the exterior, engine-bay, and soon to-be interior.
Right now, everything's torn out of the car and was sent off to get polished. I should be receiving all the parts back sometime toward the end of this week. From there it's going to the rim shop to have my wheels installed, then back to the bodyshop for any adjustments to the fenders that need to be made. Then back to my shop to quickly check everything out before FINALLY having my 500R single-turbo tuned!
Oh, and a couple pictures of the wheels I'll be putting on very soon:
Questions/comments welcome .
Later,
Rizwan

Yes, that's the FEED front bumper. One of the ONLY bumpers I was willing to sell my 99 spec for.

Thanks guys! The ONLY reason I didn't post motor shots is because the engine bay is currently gutted to have almost EVERYTHING in it polished. I'll definitely post pictures of my motor set-up in a week or so. PLUS, I'm also swapping my black interior for a tan one and I hope to have everything done at the same time. I'll post more pictures in a week.

^ I need a LOT of things for the front bumper. I'm just waiting on the new parts though. Shouldn't be too long before the exteriors complete.
Charlie - I'm trying man ! Just always running into one thing or another to delay the tune.

You guys are toooo funny. My fault about the black to tan, I'm not retarded . I'm actually swapping my TAN interior for a BLACK interior. Wouldn't even consider the other way around, much like everyone else on the forum.
Thanks for all the comments guys. Here's a few answers to all the questions asked:
- I call the paint "Metallic Black." The rims were actually painted the same color and you get a MUCH better idea of what the color looks like on the rims than the car since it's been very difficult capturing the color on camera.
- Rich, the car already has 99 spec tailights . One of the first mods I ever did. Also, I'm not going to have A-spec dyno tune my car. I found someone else locally whose very qualified and is very competent at tuning my ECU (Microtech).
- Hey Mike, thanks! I hope you're happy with all the parts, I know I was .
- It is a replica front end, but I do plan on having all genuine accessories accenting it.
- Finally, I definitely plan on coming out to the local events J.J.. I made it to a few this year before I started work to the car, but everything should be taken care of well before the next season rolls around.
