Why you all gotta be hatin' on the tan interior.

I must be one of the damn few that prefer tan to black.

Well, when I originally bought my car (5-6 years ago) I actually went out of my way to find a Black FD w/Tan interior. I was not a fan of black at all at the time. Over time though, I feel like black is the way to go especially considering my plans for the interior. Tan just won't work for me. Also, black is MUCH MUCH easier to maintain, darkens the cabin a lot, and to me is just more aesthetically pleasing.

I have no hate for tan interior. In fact, I still think it looks good in my car.

I went back and looked at the rear shot and b/c of the glare it's tough to tell. Sorry about that . Car looks great, can't wait for the dyno results

Thanks guys. Just finished with polishing everything I could think of under the hood. Hope to have the car put together sometime next week . I can't wait to see the finished engine bay.

Thanks everyone! The car's going through a major overhaul again. I finally finished swapping to the Black interior, decided to change the headlights, putting in a different engine, and adding a TON of new parts. I'm waiting on a few parts to be returned to me and hopefully I should have it back in the bodyshop by the end of this month. I'll be mounting the rims at that time (bodyshop still needs to cut the fenders along with some other things) and I'll take a bunch of pictures once that happens.

Projected Date of Completion: March 2007 I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Later,

Riz

I'll see what I can do about pictures before that. They'll probably be of the gutted engine bay and the work-in-progress interior. I'll have them up in a few days.

Thanks man. I can't wait till it's actually complete. I hope that'll be soon.

If anyone's interested I'll probably be making a F/S thread soon to sell my A-spec 500R turbo kit. It'll come complete with everything A-spec includes in their kit i.e. Turbo, downpipe, manifold, wastegate, and various fittings and lines. The upside is NO wait ! As seen in the previous pictures I posted, everything was ceramic coated and I had the turbo polished. It's practically NEW with right around 20 miles on it and NO boost over 6 psi. I took everything apart and inspected it and everything is in PERFECT condition. PM me if anyone's interested otherwise in a day or two I'll have it up for sale.

Later,

Riz

Definitely NOT on track. I got delayed waiting for a few crucial parts so I wasn't able to go ahead with some bodywork needed along with other things. I haven't updated pictures because other than swapping the interior and removing the wing I haven't done too much.

By the end of this month, the bodywork should be done and my new sound system should be complete. I'll update then. Thanks for keeping up with the project .
