Check these out! Reverse Glo
Just ordered these from ProcarParts.com . Only $27.95, I will let you know if they are any good. I have some on order from Blackcatcustoms with green backlighting and green markings to match my greddy gauges too.

uhhh, yeah, I wanna know why ProCarParts price dropped so drastically I remembered a couple months ago they wanted $89.95 for the silver, reverse glow lit gauge faces...now as posted, they are $27.95!
Typo...sale....extreme rip off at beginning ??? WTF? I might just snag them at that price, but I am afraid to put them in I hear it is tough.

I am not sure how hard it is to do, but I have a problem with my tach anyway so I might as well do it all at once. I think someone tried to figure out why the tach was freaking out once in a while and they didn't put the needle back on correctly. When the car is off the tach still reads 1K rpm. I will let you know if they are any good when they come in. I would think maybe a week?

you've installed gauge faces before, skunks?
is it 100% neccessary to remove the needles? Just going by a mental pic in my head, isn't it possible to slide the face off over the needle (hole in center of face, slide needle out that as removing).?

Just got the gauges from Procarparts.com. They look good to me. The difference between the blue and green isn't really that great. They didn't send the little white covers for the warning lights like the brake light though. If it isn't too hard to install them I will probably do it until my blackcatcustoms come in. I will compare when they do come in. If I do install them I will post some pics. They have a switch mechanism that you can switch between green and blue and control the dim of the lights. What I will do is just set it to it's brightest setting and put the control in a hidden place under the dash. If you wire it to the ashtray it will dim with the stock dimmer. Cheers

you just slip them around the gauges.

I am not sure about turning off the circle in the middle. I am going to try to get them installed today so I will get some pics if I get it done. They look just like the picture I posted above. I am a little annoyed that they didn't send the pieces that cover the warning lights. I will have to call them.
BTW, I definitely think they are worth the 27.95 to get them. My Blackcatcustoms are costing me like $130. They may be a little nicer, and be the exact color to match my greddy gauges but they are 100 bucks more.

So, done with the install. I will take some pics in a bit. Here is what I had to do to get them installed:
1. Take off the cluster and take the black cover and clear window with the silver rings off.
2. You do have to take the needles off because if you install these faces over the top of the stock ones they are too thick and the needles drag and get stuck on the faces.
3. Use a self tapping screw to hold down the tach gauge face just above where is says "Cruise".
4. The holes for the little stopper pins on the gauges are too big. The pins won't snap into place like they should. They just fall right through the faces. What I did was put the pins back into the stock gauge faces and then cut them to act as basically a backing plate to hold the pin in place.
5. The other problem with them is they have too big of a hold around the base of the needle. You can see the orange light coming from the back of them. You can also see some of the circuitry behind them.
6. Run all the power lines then plug the gauge cluster back in and take if for a ride. Do not install any of the face plates or cluster hood. I set me tach at 750 rpm at idle. Took a drive with my girlfriend on the cell phone and set the speedo. The best way I found to get them right is to check the setting before you take them off the first time. Turn the needle all the way to the right until it stops, mark this point. When you install them again install and push them until they are at the same place when pushed all the way to the right as before. They look good, but don't look that great with my Greddy gauges. I will post pics after I take a nap, or after the IRL race I am going to tomorrow.
All in all not that bad, just tedious.

i recived my reverse indiglo kit today and god, its sweet!!! i bought it from Procarparts.com and it was pretty damn cheap. I actually only wanted a white face gauge kit but this reverse indiglo light set makes it a must buy to anybody looking for a kit I would suggest it to anybody and the hook up could not be easier.
