Repainting the 7?

I am in the process of repainting the 7. It is originally montego blue but my dad wanted to change to color to something more blue. I am doing everything but the engine bay so, I wanted to get a color that was very similar so it didn't clash. I searched and found a thread that said you could take out one of the green pearls but I went to the paint shop and they insisted there was only one green pearl and if I took it out the car would look bad. Is there any way of making the montego blue more blue and less green, should we just keep it montego blue, or have any ideas of similar colors that wouldn't clash?

My car is a chameleon blue but the eingine bay was not color sanded or buffed so it looks very close to montego blue. They look fine together. You dont want to try and remove pearls out of existing paint it can make the paint look muddy. If you want a tru chameleon paint you can tell them what colors you want in it and a good paint guy will make it and spray you samples. It's expensive paint though. Mine was $380.00 a pint.

Has anyone seen Saphire blue pearl on an rx-7? Its a toyota supra color that is blue and in light has some purple. Or maybe Midnight blue which is a dark blue from porsche. Here is a supra with the blue pearl. I think pretty much any blue beyond the stock will clash being that mb is almost green.....
