Removing the AC panel in a '93
I looked in the on-line manuals, and is shows 2 screw in the gauge cluster, however, I can only find one. I'm trying to change out the AC panel but I can't without removing the gauge plastic. Any input? Thanks!

I'm confused. I'm trying to pull the gauge cluster out so that I can get to the two screws in the AC panel that are behind the gauge cluster. The diagram shows two screws holding the gauge cluster in, these are screwed in from below. However, I can only find the screw on the right side of the steering column and not the left. I was wondering if perhaps the '94 and up had two screw and the '93 only had one. Or maybe it is hidden somewhere else. I don't want to force it off without knowing for sure that there is no other screw there as I don't want to break it.

Yep, worked like a charm! It was a lot of work though. Next project will be to change out the instrument cluster surround. The A/C panel looks great, plus it does not have the ugly airbag sticker either. I'm glad that I spent the $200. While I was at it, I moved the turbo timer and the digital wideband readout to under the dash as the previous owned had installed them on top of the steering column which was ugly and the turbo timer's blue light was blinding.
Thanks for the help Mahjik!

Not much to see. But my old A/C surround was pretty scratched up.
As you can see, it does not really match the rest of the interior as the plastic is dryer looking. I put some Armor All on it which helped some. I think I will have the neighborhood kids who are always putting greasy finger prints on my doors and windows to run their greasy paws across it.
