I'm in for what ever I can do to make this a go, I would love to be able to to continue the leather to the dash and all its panels and do a alcantara on the shifter, ac & gauge surround. I have an extra dash and full gauge surround we can use.

I PM'ed Redline, they can and will do this by either templates or actual parts. I don't trust myself anymore than I would anyone not in the buisness to make a template. So... Give me until the end of today to get some crap figured out and we'll set this in motion. If no one minds, we'll just hijack this thread for the time being. Lets start a list of the parts we'ed like covered. I have a feeling this is going to be an incredible addition to the 7's community & not just the FD. Please don't bombard Redline. Name one person to be the go between. I don't have a problem doing it & will until someone decides who. My list of absolutely needed parts, add to it if you are serious, may cost you something upfront, ie shipping. I think we should start with 5,6,7,8,9,11 & 12 as those are common to all North American models & the most troublesome. I'll need help with some of these parts as well as shipping as I don't have them as spares.
- dash
- dash side panels
- dash lower panels
- glove box
- shifer surround
- AC panel
- gauge surround
- gauge top panel
- door panels
- lower dash panel (above knees)
- passenger door plastics
- driver door plastics

Well I covered them, albeit, they weren't perfect. I'm sure they can do it. My master plan, in a perfect world would be to have the Gauge, AC, Shifter surrounds & door plastics in Alcantara, Dash, doors, console, headliner etc.. in leather.

Count me in. That looks really nice and to have leather on the doors and center console would be great. How about the dash too?
I bought a new shifter boot from them a few years ago and am patiently waiting to put it on once my car gets back. The quality is excellent and the price is right.

I'm someone who worries about things actually happening by trying to do too much. How about we focus this and really get it done. That means we should focus on a combination between high demand and relative ease.
My guess is - which can be tested easily enough - is that the door panels would be the highest followed by either the gauge bonnet or the entire dash (or perhaps both).
All the little other pieces could follow - but I just don't think it makes sense to try to bite off every single possible interior bit. Redline used to make a gauge bonnet cover for the Miata but discontinued it because of low demand.
As for me, I'd pay right now - for door and bonnet covers - as long as the cost is below custom which I'm planning on doing this coming summer.

I really am not concerned with which is first & I doubt very many will fork out the dough for a complete interior all at once, so parts that are easily removed most likely will be best sellers ie door panels, gauge, ac, shifter surrounds, door plastics. The latter get the most abuse, my shifter surround and ac panel look rough.
I can send these parts:
- dash
- shifter surround
- complete gauge surround
- Dash side panels
- Dash center panels
- Driver door plastics
- Passenger door plastics
- Door panels
- AC panel, complete with switches.
- Windshield pillars
- Kick panels

What about the headliner? They would need a sunroof and non-sunroof option though.
I am in for:
dash
left and right door panels
headliner [if possible]
I do not mind shipping my door panels in, but they do have two holes for tweeters, so I am unsure if that will effect anything. We should all pool money together for shipping, it is not fair that a few of us will have to pay for shipping, while the others indulge off of our molds...
I think the kick panels are un-necessary, and the driver door plastics, passenger door plastics, and AC panel, complete with switches should be of secondary concern as their are good alternatives for this (carbon fiber, or paint). FYI the windshield pillars are known as "a pillars".

Great to see some decent interest! Sorry I've taken a few days to update this thread. I've been talking to Maciek from Redline Goods (he's the redlinegoods.com member here) and if there is enough interest on each item, they are willing to do this.
Basically their center console cover hasn't been selling anywhere near their expectations, so they are wary of introducing new products. With that said, as long as we can gather at least 10-15 people (he didn't mention an exact number) who are definitely in, then we can move forward from there. I was specifically discussing door panel overlays with him, and just as a ballpark estimate, he said at minimum they would be 100 dollars a piece. Just a heads up to let people know what kind of pricing to expect.

Hey guys, please put your name down on this list, if you are seriously interested. Also add in any other interior parts you want these for.

The group buy interest forum doesn't get too much traffic it seems, and neither does this one. We should start another thread in this forum, and another in the 3rd gen section to spread the word around. Sorry for the thread hijack OP

Did anyone reply to this? I bought the centre console Redline leather cover, it has no backing padding, so I think it's going to make the console feel hard. The original vinyl covering has some padding.

Where did you get the full length tunnel from????
I'd love to get my hands on a full length tunnel like that?? Where?? I'd love to install a couple of cup holders in it.
